Your trek down to the Colorado River with Alpenglow Adventures, via the South Kaibab Trail in Grand Canyon National Park (Arizona, USA), is undeniably one of the most beautiful hiking experiences in the world.

   You will descend steep and winding trails through patches of prickly pear cacti, a lush garden oasis, and ice cold rushing streams. You will find yourself beneath rock formations whose height and depth will be difficult to comprehend, with spectacular panoramic views in all directions.
   Ultimately you will touch the mighty Colorado river that carved the very canyon we will be experiencing. The Grand Canyon National Park is the most famous National Park in the United States and is recognized as one of the greatest natural wonders in the world.
   Alpenglow Adventures' guides have led 84 separate trips into the Grand Canyon National Park, getting more than 3,300 people to the bottom. Having taken the very 1st two individuals who cannot walk to bottom of the Grand Canyon by trail, they now offer the most unique way to experience this American jewel.

You will have the opportunity to assist with the pushing and pulling of one of our two specialized trail devices, directly contributing to each historic endeavor of taking someone who cannot walk to the bottom by trail. This is truly the first hiking trip of its kind offered in America's National Park System and in the 90 year history of the Grand Canyon National Park.
The hike to the bottom and back out takes a team effort, requiring participants to maintain a positive and team focused approach. This may include helping to carry water bottles for a friend or handing out group snacks when it is time for a break. Whatever your role on the trail, it will be an incredibly rewarding one.

You can hike the Grand Canyon with anybody, but only with Alpenglow Adventures can you accomplish a hike with great historic significance and purpose. Transport	-Mules to transport overnight gear, food, and equipment
