The Havasu Falls (Arizona, USA) trip with Alpenglow Adventures is one with huge rewards. What other trek will lead you to secluded waterfalls and a desert oasis all while making history? Havasu Falls, the main attraction, will prove to be even more beautiful than any image you've seen of the travertine pools.

At 120 feet tall, the water is so powerful, the mists can be felt along the desert shore 50 yds away, instantly cooling off hot and sweaty hikers. The secluded Havasupai Village has character all of it's own.
Helicopters fly down, noisily by the half hour, dogs roam the dusty "roads," and fields of crops cover the desert landscape, all encircled by phenomenal, towering red canyon walls as a scenic backdrop; all to one of the most unique village settings within the United States.
Alpenglow Adventures' guides have led 53 separate trips from the Hualapai Hilltop, getting more than 1,500 people to Havasu Falls. Having taken the very 1st two individuals who cannot walk to the falls and back out by trail, they have pioneered a totally new way to experience one of the most beautiful hikes in the world.

And on this trip, you will work for your reward. You will have the opportunity to assist with the pushing and pulling of one of our two specialized trail devices, carrying water and food for others, or just being great moral support. Parts of the trail are immensely steep and full of switchbacks.
There may be large obstructions to maneuver around or decisions to be made when confronted by a fork in the trail. But when faced with the vibrant intensity of the red walls engulfing the trail, cantering horse trains passing by, fellow hikers giving you a friendly smile, and continuously changing scenery, each mile will be filled with something spectacular to observe.
The hike to the bottom and back out takes a team effort, requiring participants to maintain a positive and team focused approach. Whatever your role on the trail, it will be an incredibly rewarding one.
To complete this already incredible trip we will end the week in Grand Canyon National Park, chasing what may very well be the best sunrises and sunsets of your life.

You will have an absolutely unforgettable experience. So join Alpenglow Adventures in hiking to paradise, swimming in heavenly waters, sleeping under the desert stars and watching the day begin and end like you've never imagined.

Special Stretch Goal For This Trip
For those hearty souls who want to re-lace their hiking boots and see the Grand Canyon at its finest, we will venture down the amazing South Kaibab Trail.

Alpenglow Adventures has succeeded with the only fully assisted complete trail descents and ascents in Grand Canyon National Park history. When we complete this amazing hike, we will literally be adding to the National Park history books together.
Perhaps more importantly, we will be helping someone to see parts of the canyon that have previously only been seen by people who could hike the entire trail themselves.
And what a way to see it!...We will time our hike to experience the canyon in every stage: motivating morning light, peaceful evening light and surreal moonlight. Once again, we will prevail with positive attitudes, a slow pace, and incredible teamwork.
   Need more motivation? Simply put,
The rewards of this particular hike are some of the best of any hike in the world.
